15 Altcoins See a Surge in Trading Volume in South Korea – XRP Tops the List
Upbit and Bithumb, two of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, have seen significant increases in trading volume for some altcoins over the past 24 hours.
The volume, concentrated particularly in $XRP, $ONDO, INFINIT, and various low-market-cap altcoins, indicated a renewed interest of South Korean investors in the altcoin market. According to the data, the highest altcoin trading volume on Upbit was recorded by $XRP with approximately $90.5 million, while strong trading activity was also observed in projects such as $ONDO, $NEAR Protocol, $SOON, and INFINIT.
When data from the two exchanges were combined, $XRP emerged as the altcoin with the highest total trading volume by far. $ONDO and INFINIT were also among the projects generating high volume on both exchanges.
