Analysts Set Sights on Ripple's Valuation Ahead of Early Summer Deadline

As the cryptocurrency market continues to experience fluctuations, prediction market traders are suggesting that XRP may face ongoing downward pressure as of June 1, 2026. The majority of traders are focusing on lower price points, with the Polymarket contract indicating a 12% likelihood of XRP reaching $1.20 by June 1. This outcome is currently the most favored among traders, while more optimistic targets, such as $1.60 and $1.80, have been assigned significantly lower probabilities of 4% and 1%, respectively.

In the short term, XRP has experienced increased volatility, which is consistent with the broader cryptocurrency market trend. At the time of reporting, XRP was trading at $1.36, having gained over 2% in the past 24 hours, although it has declined by more than 4% on a weekly basis. The prediction market data reveals that traders are not confident in XRP's potential for a significant upside breakout, with price targets above $2.00, including $2.20, $2.40, $2.60, $2.80, and $3.00, all having an implied probability of less than 1%.

On the other hand, the likelihood of a severe decline is also considered low, with XRP falling to $1 having a 2% probability, and deeper declines to $0.80, $0.60, $0.40, and $0.20 all having less than a 1% probability. The prediction market has generated substantial trading volume, exceeding $1.5 million, which highlights the significant interest in XRP's short-term direction. The most actively traded contracts include the $2 target, with over $175,000 in volume, the $1.80 target, with more than $213,000, and the $1.60 target, with approximately $126,000 exchanged.

XRP's recent price movement has been characterized by a relatively narrow trading range between $1.30 and $1.50, which is approximately 60% below its peak in July 2025. Despite this, the asset has seen improving fundamentals and growing institutional interest, with spot XRP ETFs attracting over $1 billion in cumulative inflows since late 2025. The month of April was particularly strong, with net inflows exceeding $80 million. Near-term forecasts generally predict XRP to trade between $1.50 and $1.60, while broader projections for 2026 range from around $2 in conservative scenarios to as high as $5 under more bullish conditions, driven by ETF adoption and utility growth.
