XRP’s Global Split: Europe’s Operational Maturity Outpacing U.S. Gridlock, Says Ripple UK CEO

Infrastructure and Adoption: Ripple Custody is consolidating in Europe with key integrations such as that of the Italian banking giant Intesa Sanpaolo in April 2026.

Market Context: While Las Vegas celebrates the $XRP ecosystem conference, London points out that actual execution has displaced regulatory speculation.

Asset Data: The $XRP token is currently trading around $1.38, maintaining a market capitalization of over $85 billion.

Ripple’s Managing Director for the UK and Europe, Cassie Craddock, recently stated that $XRP adoption in Europe has moved from pilot projects to real and scalable operational production.

Digital asset adoption has moved from pilot to production. In my view, nowhere is that clearer than in Europe.

Custody is the infrastructure layer that is making this transformation possible. Without secure, compliant custody architecture, digital asset strategies, be it…

Within the framework of the ecosystem conference in Las Vegas, the director highlighted that, unlike the United States, where regulation remains the center of the debate, the old continent already dominates the necessary custody infrastructure.

Currently, $XRP shows a daily transaction volume of $1.84 billion, facing technical resistance at $1.50, while the RSI suggests a phase of institutional accumulation at critical support levels.

This operational maturity is supported by the deployment of custody solutions that allow top-tier banks, such as BBVA and DZ Bank, to manage digital assets with full regulatory compliance and technical security.

Craddock emphasized that without a solid custody architecture, any payment or tokenization strategy is impractical, positioning the European region as the undisputed leader in financial execution on the $XRP Ledger.

The Advance of Ripple Custody vs. the U.S. Market

The integration of services by Intesa Sanpaolo acts as a catalyst for other European financial institutions to accelerate their deployments without the legal hurdles typical of the North American market.

On the other hand, the recent incorporation of real-time compliance through Chainalysis and the Palisade wallet infrastructure strengthens local regulators’ confidence in Ripple-based solutions.

While the United States celebrates local successes at massive events, operational leadership seems to have moved to London, where the focus remains strictly on infrastructure and payment interoperability.

Experts point out that the market is already “multi-stablecoin,” and Ripple’s ability to settle operations in USDC, USDT, and RLUSD simultaneously provides a competitive advantage that Europe is seizing more rapidly.

Ultimately, the gap between speculation and real utility is widening, with Europe consolidating an infrastructure layer that allows institutions to launch on-chain financial services in an agile and secure manner.
