Litecoin Summit 2026: First Wave of Speakers Announced

The Litecoin Foundation (@LTCFoundation) has unveiled the first wave of speakers for Litecoin Summit 2026, with Charlie Lee, NYM's Alexis Roussel, LitVM's Aztec Amaya, and five others confirmed for the two-day event in Amsterdam this June. It is the first time the summit has been held outside the United States.

The sixth Litecoin Summit runs June 22-23, 2026, at the Tobacco Theater in central Amsterdam, kicking off Dutch Blockchain Week. The Foundation has billed the event as "Our First Euro Summit," with two-day passes starting at €84 and payable in $BTC, $LTC, or fiat.

Why is the summit leaving the US for the first time?

Previous editions have been held in cities including South San Francisco, Nashville, and most recently Las Vegas in May 2025. The 2026 move to Amsterdam reflects the Foundation's push to deepen ties with European developers, regulators, and the broader Web3 community.

Tying the summit to Dutch Blockchain Week puts Litecoin in front of one of the largest Web3 audiences in Europe. Past summit speakers have included Ron Paul, PGP creator Phil Zimmerman, Naomi Brockwell, Lightning Labs' Elizabeth Stark, John D'Agostino, and Jameson Lopp. The Foundation has stuck with its core themes for 2026: privacy, financial freedom, and censorship resistance.

Who is on the first wave of speakers?

Eight names have been confirmed so far, with the Foundation noting that more will follow. The list spans protocol leadership, privacy tech, mining hardware, payments, and entertainment.

Charlie Lee, creator of Litecoin and director at the Litecoin Foundation, headlines the lineup. He has spoken at every previous summit, and his keynote is expected to cover LitVM progress, payments adoption, and the privacy roadmap.

Alexis Roussel, COO and co-founder of privacy network NYM, brings a privacy-rights focus. He previously founded Swiss crypto brokerage Bity and has worked at the International Court of Justice and the United Nations.

Aztec Amaya, co-founder of LitVM and Chief Strategy Officer at Lunar Digital Assets, leads development of Litecoin's EVM-compatible Layer-2. LitVM is positioning itself to bring DeFi, real-world assets, and zero-knowledge tooling to Litecoin's hard-money base layer.

Ben Miklozek, co-founder of Lokotech AS, is a longtime advocate of Litecoin, Dogecoin, and other Scrypt and AuxPoW coins. His company is finalizing what it describes as the most advanced Scrypt ASICs to date.

David Eichel, also known as Zordiak, is co-founder of Pepecoin, a proof-of-work blockchain merge-mineable with Litecoin and Dogecoin that launched in 2024. He has been mining and building in crypto since 2013.

Iván Escamilla Rodriguez, Product and Growth Lead at Coinsbee, focuses on turning crypto into real-world spending power. He has spoken at events in El Salvador, the UAE, Germany, and Mexico.

Marty Simpson returns as the summit's emcee and Roast Master. The stand-up comedian has appeared on ESPN, BET, Nickelodeon, and Amazon Prime, and his DryBar Comedy specials have pulled millions of views.

Randi Hipper, known as Miss Teen Crypto, hosts the Foundation's "Foundations by Litecoin" podcast and runs her own shows including the Randi Hipper Show. The 23-year-old has been promoting Bitcoin and Litecoin adoption since 2020.

What can attendees expect on the agenda?

The summit will run talks, panels, workshops, breakout sessions, an exhibitor area, and networking. The current speaker mix points to several likely tracks: privacy and censorship resistance through Roussel's NYM work, LitVM and Layer-2 progress through Amaya, Scrypt mining hardware through Miklozek, and merchant payments through Coinsbee. Amaya's session is expected to cover the latest on LitVM testnet progress and a mainnet timeline for the EVM-compatible Layer-2, one of the more closely watched technical roadmaps in the Litecoin ecosystem.

Pepecoin's (@PepecoinNetwork) presence is also worth flagging. @litecoin and @dogecoin have been merge-mined together since 2014, meaning the same Scrypt hashpower secures both chains at once. Pepecoin slotted into that same setup in 2024, so Litecoin miners can now earn block rewards on three chains in parallel. With Eichel on the schedule, the summit signals continued openness to Litecoin's merge-mining ecosystem and its memecoin-adjacent communities, an angle the Foundation has historically kept at arm's length but one that increasingly drives Scrypt network activity.

Simpson and Hipper round out the program on the entertainment and community side, a reminder that the summit is pitched as a Litecoin gathering, not a pure tech conference.
