ENS Labs' Mythos AI system was launched earlier this month and pulled from the United States market after just a few days, marking a swift shift in the blockchain security landscape.
Launch, Withdrawal, and Core Functionality
Mythos, an artificial‑intelligence platform designed to autonomously locate vulnerabilities in smart‑contract code, appeared on the market in early June 2024 before regulators forced its removal from the American market. Alexander Urbelis, chief information security officer at ENS Labs, described the tool as a “fuzzer that can reason,” emphasizing its ability to interpret intended code behavior rather than merely flagging crashes.
