XRP nears $1.20 as ETF inflows counter shorts

2 min read

XRP maintained a $1.20 price level on June 17, 2026, as fresh ETF inflows and heightened spot demand bolstered the token’s support zone.

Price Dynamics and Trading Volume

Over the preceding 24 hours, XRP slipped 3.29 % and recorded a trading volume of $1.76 billion. The token oscillated between $1.20 and $1.25, while its market capitalization hovered around $74.45 billion.

A brief rally pushed XRP above $1.26, peaking at $1.2996 according to analyst EGRAG Crypto. The analyst now watches for a conversion of the prior resistance near $1.30 into a new support tier.

ETF Inflows and Investor Activity

ETF products linked to XRP logged a second consecutive week of net inflows, adding $10.68 million and bringing cumulative inflows close to $1.44 billion. Daily inflows rose to $5.30 million on June 16, up from $2.82 million the day before, according to SoSoValue.

Despite the influx of capital, total net assets for XRP‑related funds slipped to $1.06 billion, indicating that withdrawals still outpaced new investments.

Technical Outlook

EGRAG Crypto highlighted that maintaining a price above $1.19 preserves a bullish structural pattern, whereas a dip below could trigger a retest of lower support levels. The analyst warned that a breach of $1.14 would erode the current setup and expose the token to further downside risk.
