Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has made it abundantly clear what remains the company's top priority.

The highly influential executive has just reaffirmed that $XRP remains at the center of the ecosystem of one of the San Francisco-headquartered enterprise blockchain companies.

Re-communicating the "North Star"

Garlinghouse’s latest statement came via X (formerly Twitter) in a direct response to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Ohanian was commenting on a business philosophy post regarding company alignment, noting that a "CEO’s responsibility is to communicate and re-communicate the North Star. Again and again."

Garlinghouse quote-tweeted Ohanian to remind the cryptocurrency community exactly what Ripple's core mission is.

"100%," Garlinghouse declared. "All roads lead back to Ripple’s North Star, $XRP."

This social media exchange echoes a similar defense Garlinghouse made during a recent appearance on an X Spaces broadcast. During the audio event, the CEO stressed that $XRP is the true "heartbeat" of Ripple. Garlinghouse clarified that every single product is ultimately designed to benefit the native token.

The reassurance from the chief executive comes after the $XRP token endured a rather brutal crash. It is downn more than 63% from its record peak.

Notably, his latest reassurance was posted on the verge of the crucial $XRP Las Vegas event.
