Binance Wallet debuts Event Rush dApp for on-chain sports and news trading

Binance Wallet, the self-custody wallet built into the Binance exchange, has unveiled Event Rush, a prediction-style trading platform powered by the 42.space protocol on $BNB Chain.
The platform enables users to trade on the outcomes of real-world events, including sports matches, crypto price targets, and major news developments, using tradable tokens on $BNB Chain, the team said Monday.
Winson Liu, Global Head of Binance Wallet, said the launch reflects the company’s focus on expanding on-chain participation opportunities.

“At Binance Wallet, we’re focused on expanding access to more on-chain experiences that give users more ways to engage with emerging markets,” Winson Liu, Global Head of Binance Wallet, commented on the launch. “Event Rush gives users a new way to express a view and participate in event-driven markets through a fully on-chain experience.”
The system uses a bonding curve mechanism to determine pricing, allowing token values to dynamically adjust based on market demand and supply rather than relying on fixed odds models.
According to Binance Wallet, users can buy or sell event tokens at any time before settlement, with all trades interacting directly with the bonding curve. Settlement conditions are defined at the protocol level and linked to verified real-world outcomes.
The team said Event Rush combines short-term trading opportunities with long-term conviction-based positioning. Users may potentially benefit by trading token prices ahead of settlement as demand fluctuates, or by holding winning event tokens through resolution to receive a share of the event’s total collateral pool.
The company noted that this structure differs from traditional prediction markets because potential returns are not capped at a fixed payout level.
While Event Rush can offer higher potential rewards, profitability is not guaranteed even when users correctly predict an outcome, since returns also depend on token pricing, pool size, and the number of winning participants, according to Binance Wallet.
Binance Wallet is the crypto wallet ecosystem developed by Binance for managing digital assets. The company offers two primary wallet types, including the Binance Web3 Wallet, which provides self-custody access to DeFi, NFTs, dApps, and cross-chain transactions, and the Binance Exchange Wallet, which is integrated with Binance’s centralized exchange and managed directly by the platform.
